Serves 6
Ingredients:
* 500 g (1 lb) sugar snap peas
* 1 bright red capsicum
* 2 tablespoons peanut oil
* 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
* 2 teaspoons sliced red chilli
* 2 teaspoons fish souce or light soy souce
* 1 teaspoon green peppercons
* 2 teaspoons sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon cornflour
How To Cook:
1.Wash and dry sugar snap peas and remove
strings. cut capsicum into strips about same
length as peas.
2. Heat oil in a work and low heat stir-fry garlic and chilli for about 15 seconds.
Add peas and toss over medium high heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Have maggi seasoning, fish or
soy souce, slightly crushed green peppercorns, sugar and cornflour mixed
together and pour into wok. stir and cook
until sauce thickens.
3. Cover and simmer
on low heat for a minute or two
Note:
Maggi seasoning is a readily available
substitute for golden mountain sauce.
